Publisher Marketing: What is the manopause? Put simply, it's a time of life when men pause. Really pause, not just take a breather. We stop, think, and wonder deeply about life. The answer is yes - and here at last is the guidebook to making the most of your so-called midlife crisis. You'll discover: - How to convince your wife you need a new hobby (or two) - How not to become a 'grumpy old man' - Cunning ways to get yourself a lad's holiday - Beard or no beard? - Sports car or no sports car? - Why a shed is the new sports car - Philosophy - have the Stoics got it right?/li> - Straight-talking on the contradictory claims made about health, exercise, food, drink, and sport "**Alternative marketing to women married to men in their late forties and fifties**: " Find out what makes your man tick! What is he really thinking about when he casts sidelong glances at a big motorbike? Why is it is a good, healthy sign that he wants a hobby, or a holiday away with the lads? Discover the reasons you should let him have a shed, grow a beard, take up goat-keeping, meet up with his pals, and generally have a fun time. Contributor Bio: Munroe, Pk PK Munroe, author, inventor and self-ordained 'harmless nuisance' is a tiny pimple on the face of the modern word. His most recent book, 'How Not to Be a Tourist in London' is a treasure trove of valid information, some of it obscure even to Londoners. Before that, his opus 'You Can Stick It' contains over 300 full-colour peelable stickers designed to help the British public and the authorities in numerous situations where a label, notice or sign is required. The book was published in December 2010 by The Friday Project, a division of Harper Collins. An e-book of 'You Can Stick It' is available from online retailers, including iBooks and Amazon. The stickers are not peelable, however. Munroe's earlier book 'The Pub Letters' is an e-book of inventions, schemes and proposals to improve public life in many innovative ways, as suggested to organisations and individuals, including the Pope and the British Royal Family. Originally published as 'The Thursday Night Letters' (New Holland Publishers, 2007) this book consists of the letters sent and the replies received. A blog showcasing Munroe's work can be found here: http: //youcanstickit.blogspot.co.uk The author's many hobbies include mountaineering, photography, architecture, printmaking, research, fishing and gardening.
