Piracy on the high seas has returned after a lapse of three hundred years. The number of pirate attacks has risen dramatically since then. Modern piracy ranges from petty larceny at sea, to highly organized syndicates pirating ships for multi-million-dollar cargoes. One of the most sophisticated and dangerous form of piracy is carried out by syndicates in South East Asia. This corporate-style organization of the syndicates is impressive.
