She doesn't know why her son is hiding in the attic, or that her husband is keeping a secret. She also doesn't know about a plot to disrupt the town's bonfire celebrations. Then she finds out that her new neighbours plan building work that will overshadow her beautifully refurbished house and that her so-called friends intend to support them. Desperate to stop the building work, Emily enlists the help of Dougie, an old acquaintance and a nasty thug. What could possibly go wrong?
