Acheeka-Choo is trying to get out of trouble. As queen of the Underground Dwellers, she's always looking for new dance space. But she and her faithful kitty, Cotton Tail, get lost in the world of UV, a hideously bright land where dancing is prohibited. The Underground Queen's Sunny Day is a book for kids, by kids. Nine elementary school students in a program called Kidz Write worked under the guidance of children's author, J Monkeys, to create, write, edit and illustrate this book. Kidz Write is one of the many activities included in Afterschool Adventures, a program administered by Educational Resources for Children, Inc.
