This man who ruled his country by Islamic Sharia Law was professing to fellow Muslims and the world that Jesus Christ was the Imam Mahdi! When he stopped speaking the crowd of UN diplomats applauded! He was preaching on behalf of the UN's "interfaith" movement symbolically represented by the structure of the UN's "Temple of Understanding" built in the image of the sun. Another event occurred when the president of Israel, Iran's sworn enemy, stood on the same UN platform and declared the time of Biblical Armageddon was near! The two men were in agreement! In addition to this, the author had stumbled upon a disturbing quote said to be uttered by former President George W. Bush during his second inaugural address which was: "When our founders declared a new order of the ages... they were acting on an ancient hope that is meant to be fulfilled." Could it be that leaders of nations believed it was their right and duty to instigate chaos and the war to end all wars known as Armageddon? Might that Biblical prophecy telling of the return of Jesus Christ be what these men referred to as an ancient "hope"?
