The Countries of the World - Cuba activity book includes the history of the island nation of Cuba, detailing its discovery by Christopher Columbus, pirates, independence from Spain, patriots, revolutionary leaders, and the several migration periods, as well as Barack Obama's visit. The book also contains facts about Cuba's geography, music, flora, fauna, agriculture, national symbols, and iconic places. The activities include mazes, match, fill-in-the-blank and several assessment questions, online search activities, and graphic organizers intended for teachers and/or parents. This book was reviewed by the Curriculum and Instruction division of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The Countries of the World - Cuba book was described as a "worthwhile supplemental resource for elementary students that is free of bias and provides students with age-appropriate information on Cuba's history, geography, and culture."
