This book is a travelers aid that gives you just enough Thai/English to be able to get on with your trip, without needing to learn too much. Just like you and when we travel we want and need just enough language from the country we are visiting to be polite and get what we need. We have condensed down some basics for the first time traveler so you can LOOK at what you want to say, POINT to it, and of course LEARN as you go. In addition we have added some sections on the essential DO'S and DONT'S, that will save you a lot of embarrassment as well as giving you some tips on how not to break the law. We have spent over 10 years in Thailand on and off learning and working in one form or another. We don't have the time (Or the energy) to learn all the rules of a language, we just want to get out and about with as little fuss as possible.
