Book 2 of the Winged Chariot series deals with SELF-ESTEEM. If a child has good self-esteem, s/he can do anything. We want the child to know if s/he is shy, out-going etc. S/he is OK. We are all born different - the world is much more interesting that way. We each have something unique to 'give' to the world. We each have different talents. Each talent is important. Some of us move fast. Some of us move slow. It is OK, it is good that there are different tempos. We want the child to know looks 'don't matter'. We are all born looking different with different attributes. This variety is important. We want the child to know if s/he has blond, red, auburn, brown, or black hair s/he is OK. It is important to acknowledge, accept, cherish each child's attributes. Make them feel good about who they are, however, whatever way they might be. Hope you & your child enjoy coloring the winged chariot in different ways...even coloring over & outside the lines.
