My traveling companions are Mija, a rescued hound of unknown mixed heritage, and a rose point Siamese named Kiko who delights in tormenting both Mija and me when we'd rather be relaxing or sleeping. At the age of 53, having raised all of my children to adulthood - some of them kicking and screaming the entire way - I've decided to do whatever makes me happy. Currently, that happiness is found in writing, visiting and spoiling grandchildren, and making sure my kids have frequent headaches wondering what I'll do next.
