Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Troy Myree Sr. has called Cincinnati, Ohio home for the past 20 years and has achieved a great deal of success: Troy Myree Sr. was an associate minister and co-director of Christian Education at one of the largest African American churches in Cincinnati, OH. After spending 8 years in this role Troy Myree Sr. began to further his education obtaining a Masters of Theology degree from Cincinnati Christian University. Troy then founded and Pastored Refuge Christian Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. After a strong 4 year run decided to step down from the role in order to deal with family issues. Unfortunately, those family issues ended in divorce and bankruptcy. Now with difficult times behind him Troy Myree Sr. is the founder of SeriousEncourgement.com, LLC a motivation and empowerment company. A company moving individuals and corporations in the right direction through the teaching of faith-based principles and the power of positive thought. As a Speaker, Troy Myree Sr. has given sermons and motivational messages to churches and organizations at all levels.
