The story of Moses is arranged chronologically, while the Law is discussed topically, using the Ten Commandments as an organizational basis. The discussion of the Law features an extensive comparison with the Code of Hammurabi, the only other extensive code of law extant from that time period. This book is designed to be a sequel to the author's previous commentary on Genesis.
