Publisher Marketing: Raven 2 Apocalypse takes place in a world where vampires have all but taken over. They have bred with the living, taken them as slaves and metamorphosed into various vampire species. This is a world where relion has been banned and forgotten, except for one man; Raven. The Second Coming was prophesied many centuries ago which would lead to the Day of Judgment. Each seal in a book of seven seals must be opened for the prophesy to come true. However, Lucifer has other plans as The Book of Seals is in his possession. Lucious, son of Lucifer, will open the first four seals, releasing the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. After which, Lucifer will command the moon to turn red, and souls of the dead to rise, form an army, and defeat God in revenge for having been cast out of Heaven. But none of this can happen until the Second Coming. After returning to base camp, Raven is given news of a preacher-nomad who has been taken by vampires and presumably, given to Lucifer. Raven's mission is to find the nomad, and kill him, whether he be the messiah, or not. He sets off from the Sudwala Caves in Mpumalanga with his companions; Bridger, Raphael, Sarah, and Sturges, for a six-month trek through hostile lands infested with vampire hoards and the the few living survivors, where cannibalism is a normal way of life. Raven's destiny is not to stop or avert Judgment Day, but to make sure it happens by opening the remaining seals.
