Vision of the Heart, Book 2: Jennie's Story continues the saga of Susannah and Anthony Colby and their family in the New World. They are joined by Jennie Miller, a young orphan found and "purchased" by Anthony to assist Susannah with the children. This book, told through Jennie's eyes, describes life in New England in the early 1630's, as their settlements grew and spread. Life was hard. Religious bigotry, cruelty and heartache also came across the Atlantic with the settlers.
