Payton Anderson was not even an average teenager. Not doing too well in school, not doing well at life, the psychiatrists and school counselors could barely keep him afloat. Then his parents, researchers at an applied physics laboratory, were accidentally responsible for a kidnapping. Not just any abduction--someone from literally from another world. Unable to speak English or any earthly language, with no understanding of life on earth, things seemed to be worse for the girl than for Payton. Even so, things could change in a heartbeat.
