Receiving a guilty verdict for assault, Lander Kahn must now serve out his penalty on his last planet of residence. Leaving behind his two best friends and the woman he loves, he bids farewell to his home on the scientific orbiter, the FPRD-Colossus, and travels over a million miles to Pilar where his mother and father still reside.
