Emily is a 17-year-old girl with an addiction to band members, which is exactly what Oliver is. Emily sees him on stage during a concert and is taken back by how much she wants him. Oliver spots a girl in the front row and finds himself thinking about her as the days pass. A few chance encounters, two degrees of separation, and one New Year's Eve lead to something Emily and Oliver end up gambling on: love. And whether or not they find what they're looking for in each other is up in the air. Only time can tell what a new year will bring. But the road into a new year is long, violent, and unforgiving. Christmas Eve has never been worse for either of them, but come January, it'll be a fresh start for everyone. But fresh starts can sometimes turn rotten.
