When a simple love of poetry and Halloween, turn into a year of my life. October 1, 2012 started a journey that I will never forget, taking time for myself. A personal challenge of combining a love of Halloween and poetry, to write a poem a day based strictly on Halloween for the month of October. As Halloween came, I decided I wanted to keep this journey of personal time to write daily continuing. So it began, A Year Of A Poet. Written as a journal basically in poetry form, you'll get to know parts of me. The poetry you find in these pages will range in topic, Halloween, friendship, love, hate, and many more. Yes, misspelling and wrong words will be found in these pages, but as in life, nothing is truly perfect. It's only perfect in the eye of the beholder.
