This book tells the Grimm Fairy tale of the witch in the castle of a dense forest who captured beautiful young maidens and turned them into birds. It is designed to be a progressive introduction to Spanish Language. This work comes from the idea of progressive learning. In Lesson 1 you are introduced to new vocabulary set aside as "white text on a black background" with English translation. In Lesson 2 the new vocabulary is introduced again in the same way and the previous vocabulary is now highlighted in gray with an English translation. In Lesson 3 the same applies, however, now the vocabulary introduced in Lesson 1 is no longer set apart and the English translation is gone. And so it goes... Lessons 10, 11, & 12 do not introduce new vocabulary, but continue the process until lesson 12 is simply in Spanish. It Starts: There was once an old castle in the midst of a large and dense forest, and in it an old woman who was a witch dwelt all alone....
