It isn't a high-tech trauma center with the latest and greatest life-saving devices. But the small community hospital of Albright Memorial is renowned for its compassionate staff and human touch.

Now, with a major hurricane headed toward the Three Points area, doctors and medical staff are making their final preparations to care for patients during the storm. However, they are beginning to realize that this close-knit hospital might not be the safe haven it used to be.

After an influx of criminal activity in the area, Albright has become the destination of choice for injured gang members-and now the Rattlers and the Jackals, the area's largest gangs, both hope to gain the hospital's territory as their own. Worse yet, they're willing to intimidate or attack anyone who tries to stand in their way, including ER doctors, patients, and staff.

Now, as a hurricane rages its way toward the hospital, gang violence is brewing up a storm of its own. In the midst of unforeseen violence and chaos, doctors and nurses must fight to save lives like never before-all while facing the dramatic consequences of working in the heart of a devastating turf war.
