Doctor Michelle Fox, a psychologist who has been living in Ireland, has been called to come over to East London's most infamous Asylum, Westspring. A place that holds those who suffer with Mental Health problems. Sebastian and Cheryl Finch, both cousins who are locked up for a murder of a young girl, are both convinced that they are time travelling vampires who belong to a group of unknown warriors who calls themselves 'The Nightmares'. As Doctor Michelle Fox interviews the two cousins, she soon discovers dark secrets about Westspring and the people who work in there. She soon comes to realise that the Finch cousins may not be "Mental" after all.... What is Westspring? Who are the Nightmares? And time travelling creatures? What's the worst that could happen?
