Nicolas didn't want to be burdened with one young girl let alone two. But that's exactly what he got when he found his niece after her mother died. He feels responsible for Trea since she had protected his niece from their landlord. He puts the girls in a boarding school and all is going well until he is informed by the Headmistress that Trea has run away, with some unknown bloke. Ungrateful chit.
