Romeo Velinciano is the oldest, strongest vampire of his kind. After so many years, he has no hope to ever change, and despite living in a church, he cares not for the God it represents. However, when he falls in love with a human woman who comes to him for help, his self-assumed wickedness starts to die, and he finds himself considering love and faith with a whole new outlook. With the help of a local priest, Romeo and Kaelyn start down a path untraveled, in the hopes of giving this Master Vampire a chance at a normal life, and the restoration of faith in the God that he abandoned.
