Driving the Jesus Bus Through Georgia is the first of the Tim Welch saga, a story of one man's struggle to live a good life. This first story opens in 1968, Tim is out of high school, looking at a growing war in South Vietnam and how he will participate in that conflict. He plans to spend the summer traveling with a revival troupe in hopes of finding some religious guidance in making his decisions toward the war. What he finds are more questions than answers.
