Mokki's Peak
Tony Seton
Dustin Propper was in a slow downward spiral. Ever since the love of his life was killed by a drunk driver. He'd taken a buy-out from the news network, but unable to let go of the news, he'd taken a reporter's job at a local station in a major Midwest market. He should have known; it was a disaster. It was no surprise that he felt relieved when the producer fired him, shortly before the producer himself was fired. Then Dustin had a couple of curious experiences. People came into his life and moved him in a strange - for him - new direction. He missed a plane, which later crashed. He was arrested for talking to the wrong person on his way to Kathmandu. And then, after a long trek into the Himalayas, he found himself on Mokki's Peak, where he saw a bird fly backwards...and himself move forward.
