Puck, Put Away Thomas W Baxter
Puck, Put Away
Thomas W Baxter
When one looks at the next generation of young people attempting to place their stamp on the universe, how easy it is to ask, "What are they thinking?" In his first published book of poetry, author Thomas W. Baxter invites us to join him as he gets to ask, "What was I thinking?" As a teenager taking his first independent steps out into the world, Baxter prolifically recorded his sensations, thoughts, and feelings in a number of spiral bound notebooks. In those days, he made no move without one close at hand. Then, at some point, like so many of us, he became engrossed by the busyness of life, put those notebooks away, and all but forgot about them. Some twenty-five years later, he found them in a cardboard box in his basement, and after paging through them, decided that some of what he had written might be worth sharing. This collection is the result.
