This collection of poems, written or newly revised for, this volume, emerges from one person's search for hope, love and meaning in a world where all three can be seen to be slipping beyond our grasp. To be able to truly love we must learn to trust all that we love. And we must learn to love all, without exception or favour. These poems represent one man's erratic, flawed attempts to do just that. This isn't a book about religion, though there are elements of biblical history in here. It is a book about faith and fear, about dreams and doubts and visions. Most importantly, it is a book about love. 'All for one and one for all' should mean everybody, not just your friends. These are my prayers.
