Letters to my daughters / Letters to my sons Desmen Johnson

Desmen and Rachelle are friends from high school who often compares notes on parenting. During a conversation as to what they would say to their children if they had to write them a letter, the idea for this project was created. Letters to my daughters was written by Rachelle Ford, a single mother of 4, who was born and raised in Haiti. Her parenting values and principles all derive from what her grandmother taught her while raising her. Letters to my sons was written by Desmen Johnson, a proud father of both boys and girls who was born & raised in Bronx, New York. Apart from being a published author, he is also a music artist. Together, with this project, both Rachelle & Desmen hope to immortalize in written form some of the values and lessons they wish to pass on to their children.
