Without a Net is a collection of 30 poems, 4 haiku, and 3 vignettes that variously tell a story of life in late-20th and early-21st century America, drawing particular influence from the realms of nature, religion, and visual art. The work explores scenes through images, brief snapshots, and cross-sections that reflect some core emotional content in much the same way as a drawing or painting, or a short film projected on a barnyard wall.
