The year is 2016. The world is in a constant state of war for reasons no one can remember nor justify. Ethan Regard is a soldier who has spent the last ten years of his life in these wars. When given the opportunity to transfer to a far better position covered in secrecy, he accepts, but with caution, as he's had his share of questionable orders. What he finds there, he at first deems no worse than the wars he's fought in. Detached but not emotionless, his mind begins to wander. When a single incident occurs, it sets off a catastrophic chain reaction, causing things to spin wildly out of control. Only a pawn in a larger scheme, he prepares himself to fight that which he's watched grow, and to escape a biological tidal wave of terror.
