JD Wombat lives in a Gum tree in the Blue Grey Valley's Eucalyptus wood. His adopted family includes Mr. and Mrs. Possum and his two possum sisters, Bindi and little Pooky Choo.

JD loves his family, but the room he shares with Bindi and Pooky Choo is getting crowded. Moving him into his own bedroom will give everyone more space-and cut down on sibling teasing and fights. So the Possum family decides to add an extension to the little home-much to Pooky Choo's confusion.

Pooky Choo isn't sure what an "eggs-ten-shone" is, or why eggs will help her brother get a new room, but if that's what the family needs, she's ready to help. While the other family members are busy digging, Pooky's in the kitchen, cooking up fun-and a great big mess!
