To look inside this book please enter the full title in Google Books (http: //books.google.com/). The first group of essays were written some 2000 miles away from home between the ages of 13 and 22 (from 1978-1984 A. D.). During this period I was a high school student at the Concord Academy of Concord Massachusetts and then an undergraduate at the Harvard College of Cambridge, Massachusetts. They are meant to exemplify the sum and substance of a liberal arts and sciences education during this time in the United States as well as the mental states caused by such an education in the impressionable mind of a boy from humble and far off origins. The second group of essays come primarily from the years 1989-1991, during my attendance at the Tulane Law School. A final group of papers consists of an essay written for a Bachelor of Science program at the Athabasca University in 1999 (which eventually led to a Masters in Public Administration in the subject of Environmental Science and Policy), a patent application from the year 2010, a chart showing my distribution of academic time since high school, and the 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th reunion year Class Notes to Harvard College. Some of the endnotes, charts, and bibliographic data has been lost. I hope that the reader may find some amusement in these writings and perhaps also a trace of his or her own past.
