Starting out as an Instrumental Music Teacher at a new school is a daunting task, especially for the beginner teacher. This book is intended to take some of the edge off the transitional process by providing the new teacher with materials they can use to get their instrumental music program up and running quickly. I have the elementary school and middle school music teachers in mind. Included with the materials are addresses with which you can follow up with me for further resources and questions. I have 20 years experience teaching music in inner city schools (Newark, NJ and NYC). I'm also a professional musician in NYC. The information in my book is no nonsense, practical and useful once applied.
