In this tale of suspense, two beautiful sisters, Kokomma and Idara, because of their stepfather's uncaring attitude, move into the heart of the jungle to raise money for their secondary-school certificate exams and surprisingly stumble on a young male undergraduate, Zig; and the younger girl, Idara, ends up falling in love with him. Not long, out of frustration with the stepfather's antics and as it becomes clear only the elder sister could register for the certificate exams, Idara steals away from home to visit her aunt who lives in the northern part of Nigeria with intent to have her tertiary education. Soon after is a religious riot and a trader brings home the sad news that Idara and her aunt have been killed. Her boyfriend is put in a perpetual gloom as he realizes he has lost a truly beautiful personality. After graduating from the university, Zig leaves home in Cross River to have the one-year stint as a National Youth Service Corps member in the big city, Lagos. After his service, he starts working in an information technology concern as the administrative officer. A new member of staff is employed and the file the head of the organization sends to his desk and the face on the passport resembles his late girlfriend but the personal details do not point to the girl he knew. Then the new employee steps into his office and a whole lot of things look familiar. The young administrative officer had heard stories of ghosts and their intrigue before. He is wondering if the charming new employee before him is one.
