At the edge of the world's deepest trench rests Bayel, a deep sea observatory. Led by Doctor King, it exists rather unobtrusively until the arrival of thirteen new tourists. Each of them has a dark secret which has led them to Bayel and unknown to them, they are all inextricably linked to one another. The coming of the tourists brings mayhem to Bayel's door, threatening to destroy not just its peace but its very existence. As a vicious web of murder, lies, greed and betrayal begins to mingle with legends of crashed spaceships and an immortal sea creature, what unfolds is a tale of enduring love and unbreakable will. Miles within the ocean, each must confront not just the past and their own darkness, but what they have so desperately sought, for in Bayel, it is right in front of them.
