In the magical land of Alizarin, bears can talk, and dance, and juggle. When Balder, a star performing bear, discovers that the rest of his circus has disappeared, he is determined to find his way back to his troupe. He teams up with a ragtag group that includes an amnesiac ten-year-old boy and a black cat with a penchant for getting into trouble.
