This book is about a very "special" squirrel - Sandy Wayne. Sandy Wayne was rescued as an infant after falling from a tree; and through the injuries she sustained, she was unable to return to the wild. Her caregivers taught her to do everything that most squirrels automatically should be able to do on their own, and in return, this little squirrel taught them how to live life to its' fullest. Sandy Wayne went from a household pet, to an inspirational icon on her Facebook page as she touched the lives and hearts of thousands of people from all over the world.
