Miranda is an independent witch with an attitude and a lot to prove to her family and her world. When a rash of murders centering on witches comes to her attention, she jumps at the chance to prove herself only to have a well-meaning boss undercut her by adding - not just one person to the case - but a whole group. Tensions rise as she butts heads with the werewolves assigned to the case with her and she can't help the interest that sparks with one particular man in the group.
