The Company has been tasked with the job to retrieve a stolen machine. If it falls into the hands of the enemy can destroy the economy of the United States and possibly the world. A team is assembled and fly across the U. S. On the way they are attacked twice in the U. S. and once more as they approach the coast of Japan. Melinda is injured and they are forced to land on a carrier that is stationed in the Sea of Japan. Melinda ends up in the hospital in Tokyo and is visited by her two year old twins. The team spends a sixteen hours in an underground maze in China to try and find the 'fabricator'.
