Child of the Wilderness: Return to Shannon's Valley Adjusting to city life was no easy task for Jimmy Shannon he knew no one and had no friends. Since he had missed five years of schooling it was hard for his dad to get him enrolled, until he was able to Frank hired a tutor to teach Jimmy some of the things he needed to know. When he was enrolled he had no problems, the other kids knew who he was and stayed shy of him except for Teresa Newbury. She liked him from the start and was the one who started talking to him. She showed him where the classes were, during the next few months Jimmy grew very fond of her. Jimmy had a run in with a bully named Dennis Stoddard and his two goons, they beat and stabbed Teresa one night, Jimmy decided to teach Dennis a lesson. All three of them were on probation and one by one he found the two goons and convinced in no uncertain terms to plead guilty. Getting ex-spelled from school for fighting Jimmy decided to lure Dennis to his valley. Being wanted by the law for the stabbing it wasn't hard to get Dennis to go with him. Once there it didn't take Dennis long to know he didn't want to live like a mountain man, or live in a cave on the side of a mountain. Jimmy told Dennis to plead guilty to everything or he would bring him back to his valley and leave him there. He would have to fight wild animals or die.
