Losing a best friend is a terrible loss, but when it is your dog...it can feel so much worse. Words cannot even express the emptiness left within your heart. You feel as though that life cannot move on without them. If you had the experience of having a great dog in your life - a strong connection with an animal - and then having to experience the hardship of the loss after death, this may be a great read for you. My heart goes out to everyone who has shared my experience, and my wife's too.
