This handwritten and hand-illustrated children's book was authored and illustrated by my father, an educator, author and writer who had with his good friends, Ismail Kayat and Ismail Ahmad, formed the trio popularly known by many as, AJIKIK. The publication of this specific book in print form is an ODE and TRIBUTE to my FATHER, AJIKIK and Pak (Uncle) Matlob, my father's good friend, a famous children's books author and my mother. Their legacy lives on. In a veritable hadith that was narrated by Abdullah bin Abu Qatadah, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had stated that "the best things that a man can leave behind are three: A righteous son who will pray for him, ongoing charity whose reward will reach him, AND KNOWLEDGE WHICH IS ACTED UPON AFTER HIS DEATH".
