The Psalmist It all started in 1976 when someone called me a Dreamer. They told me I should know that all dreams don't come true. I went and wrote my first psalm, " The Dreamer." Now 300 psalms later, I am still dreaming that people will have their dreams come true. A funny thing about my writing is I am a realist. Being a Pastor for over 28 years has caused me to be very reflective. These psalms are all birthed out of observations I have made since 1976. A large part of these Psalms were written while attending Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, when God started giving me songs in the night. As you will notice, some are from times when I was soaring on the spiritual mountains, and the others while I was in the midst of the spiritual valleys. I would say these Psalms fall into three categories, Spiritual, Practical, and Abstract. The last being people will get different meanings from the same Psalm. My prayer is that one of these Psalms will touch your heart and impact your life. Maybe one will lift you when you are down, and guide you when you need spiritual direction. I want to thank the Lord Jesus Christ, the great Shepherd of the flock, who leads me beside the still waters and comforts my soul. May you be blessed as you read, "The Psalmist"
