This is the third book in The Event Trilogy. In the first, The Event - Life After the Meteor, we saw the downfall of civilization due to a space borne virus that turned many from living to dead to undead. In the second book, The Event - The Gospel According to Matthew, Margo and Lance, we saw a small group of survivors managed to stay alive moving forward despite attacks by both the undead as well as the living. And now in this the third in the series we see where it all ends up. Loss, death and a change in the world have impacted them, yet hope is not lost, even in the darkest hours. Does mankind survive?
