An early modern romance set in the turn of the century rural America. It is a time when automobiles and horses are still being used side by side. A time when honor, respect, and love may or may not be readily found. The story begins with Amy and Carol who are best friends. They share everything from housework to double dates. John and Mark are also best friends. The two couples decide to double date and when they do the results are both wonderful and unexpected. Follow along with the couples as they go about living their lives, falling in love, meeting obstacles, and ultimately finding out that love blooms in the most unlikely of places.
