Sex offenders draw tremendous commercial interest, judging by daily newspaper stories, weekly TV shows, and Hollywood movies. They are scorned, shamed, and mocked more than given the diagnosis and treatment that they need and deserve as human beings to help them live regular, satisfying lives. Not one of them ever wanted to be a sex offender.
