This inability to find peace is due to the duality of Teddy's existence. Teddy is both sinner and saint, happy and sad, success and failure. Teddy is bipolar. Golden Hill is the story of Teddy Twoface's journey during his stay at rehab. Each chapter is composed of seven daily journal entries.
