This latest novel by S. M. Klassen continues the adventures of Mary in Mary, Mary, How Extraordinary. In the first volume of this Regency Era Above-Stairs/Below-Stairs mystery series, Mary travels to York with her husband where he is to help prepare for the prince's upcoming visit. Georgiana Darcy soon joins them, she and Mary charged by Elizabeth Darcy and Jane Bingley to discover what is ailing their younger sister. The situation is muddled by what could be poisonings, Mary and Georgiana's two clever maids playing a major role in uncovering a devious plot. Meanwhile, Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth have a happy event, Mrs. Bennet is plagued by Mr. Collins, and Miss Anne de Bourgh must suffer the consequences of a recent action.
