What is family-based Christianity? It means the family is the heart of the Christian life. If the essence of Christianity is to be Christ-like, then individuals and families need to prioritize spiritual values rather than material values. Families are not merely economic systems, although they do have economic functions. God designed families to be spiritual systems whose members are connected by love (father, mother, and children). Therefore, exemplifying godly values within the family context is the only way we can have spiritually healthy individuals; God-centered, community-oriented churches; and above all, a righteous society. Every American needs to acknowledge that "righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people" (Prov. 14:34). Family-Based Christianity is a Bible-based resource book on how to develop God-fearing consciences, God-fearing families, God-fearing institutional churches, and God-fearing societal institutions working in concert for the kingdom of God on earth. Values dictate institutional structures, and family is at the heart of it.
