MYSTERIOUS BOLLINGSI will start by explaining the Red, the White, and the Blue Bollings:
First, the Red Bollings are Pocahontas' descendants through Colonel Robert Bolling and Pocahontas' granddaughter Jane Rolfe.
Second, the White Bollings are the non-Pocahontas descendants of Colonel Robert Bolling and his second wife Anne Stith, also called the Stith-Bollings.
Third, the Blue or Mysterious Bollings who seem to have just come out of the "Blue", no pun intended, claim to be Red Bollings from Major John Bolling and Elizabeth Blair. This book confirms six of the twelve "Blue" Bollings are indeed Red Bollings.
