After an unfortunate occurrence, at the local coffee shop, Tessa arrived at the BISHOP-TEMPLETON CORPORATION for her job interview. Once there, she found she would be interviewed by the president of the corporation, Randolph Templeton. His Vice-President was temporarily indisposed. The interview went well; Templeton was impressed by the young woman and with her credentials. He decided he would hire her himself, thinking his son could just continue looking for an assistant. As the interview was ending, there was a tap on the door, "Sorry I'm late Sir, but I was unavoidably detained." At the sound of his voice, Tessa stood and exclaimed "YOU!" At the same moment Trent Templeton uttered "YOU!" After listening to the two of them 'go at it' awhile, although he 'was' highly amused, Templeton senior put a stop to it. Much to Trent's displeasure, his father hired Tessa on the spot. Trent was determined to make her life a living 'hell' ... while Tessa was determined to keep her new job and possibly win Trent over.
